Ermanno Baron studies percussions with Giordano Rebecchi, from whom he heirs a tipically European musical imprinting and the kind of sensitivity that arouses from an academic education. In ’97 he becomes a member of Rebecchi’s modern and contemporary music ensemble, with which he plays both as member and a soloist till 2000. He then studies drums with Claudio Mastracci and Ettore Fioravanti; and paricipates to clinics held by Gene Jackson, Roberto Gatto, Enrico Pieranunzi, Salvatore Bonafede, Maurizio Giammarco, Pietro Tomolo, Enrico Rava, Horacio Hernandez. In 2004 he wins a scholarship for “Siena Jazz” masterclasses. He focuses on modern masters style such as Elvin Jones’, Roy Haynes’, Tony Williams’, Jack DeJohnette’s, Brian Blade’s, Jeff Ballard’s. He has played with Flavio Boltro, Rosario Giuliani, Ada Montellanico, Aldo Bassi, Andy Gravish, Henry Cook, Famoudou Don Moye, Marco Tamburini, Francesco Bigoni, Danielle di Majo, Giovanni Ceccarelli, Aldo Vigorito, Antonello Sorrentino, Paolo Recchia, Marco Piccirillo, Dan Kinzelman, Andy Pietropaolo, Francesco Ponticelli, Tony Cattano, Francesco Poeti, Piero delle Monache, Paolo Biasi, Simone La Maida, Susanna Stivali, Francesco Diodati, Piero Quarta, Tiziano Ruggeri, Vito Favara, Fulvio Buccafusco, Roberto Raciti, Carlo Conti, Giuseppe Ricciardo, Marta Raviglia, Marco di Gennaro, Riccardo Gola, Claudio Colasazza, Giampiero Locatelli, Gino Boschi, Giacinto Piracci, Federica Zammarchi, Andrea La Macchia, Marco Bonini, Acre, Marta Capponi, Vincenzo Florio, Renzo Ruggeri, Fabio Sartori, Bun Higashino, and many others.
